Hojicha is a roasted green tea, a close cousin of matcha. I love the roastiness of this Hojicha Latte and have been switching to it after my first cup of coffee. I just mix it with a splash of almond milk and the leftover coconut cream from my Blueberry Orange Overnight Oats. I bet it would go so well with a layer of raspberries… might try it next!
1 tsp hojicha powder
2 oz water
6 oz milk
In a tall glass, add hojicha powder and water. Blend using an electric whisk.
For a hot latte, steam your milk and pour it into the mixed hojicha. For a cold latte, add ice and pour over the milk. Enjoy!
