Small changes can be come healthy habits. One that that I’ve been working on is moving my body and that means going on a walk or run when I can. Since it’s been cold and rainy, I haven’t really made a conscious effort to get out there, but I did yesterday when the rajn broke and it felt good to feel the cold air against my face. I’ll consider that a win!
Here’s an overnight oats recipe that can be fuel before or after a workout. I love the combo of blueberries and orange and the coconut liquid base for the oats were perfect.
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup yogurt
¼ coconut cream
½ cup coconut or almond milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds
½ tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a jar and top with blueberries and orange slices.
The orange rind helps to perfume the oats so you can leave in or take out, up to you.
Fridge for 1 hr up to overnight and enjoy!
