Strawberry Cinnamon Sugar French Toast

If you want a quick breakfast that you and the kids will love, try this Strawbery Cinnamon Sugar French
Toast! This happened on accident one day when instead of pouring maple syrup, I decided to dust the french toast with the extra cinnamon and sugar that I had on hand. From the soft thick slices of bread to the creaminess of the strawberry yogurt, my kids could eat this for breakfast everyday.

2 eggs

½ cup milk

2 tsp cane sugar

¼ tsp cinnamon

4 slices white bread

cinnamon / sugar mixture (2 tsp sugar + 2 tsp cane sugar)

strawberry yogurt

fresh strawberries

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg until it’s loose and then add sugar, cinnamon, and whisk in the milk.

  2. Dip one slice of bread at a time and let it soak for about 30 seconds on each side

  3. Butter a hot pan and cook the french toast on each side for 2 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. Transfer to a plate and dust with a little bit of the extra cinnamon sugar mixture. Dollop with your favorite yogurt (I like strawberry) and add fresh fruits – strawberries, bananas, blueberries, anything works. Enjoy!
