This is another cookie recipe, My Rainbow M&M Cookies- that I know you and your kids will 100% love!! It's so easy to make and yummy too.
1 stick of butter, room temperature
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1½ cup all purpose flour
1 cup m&m plus more on top
In a large bowl, mix the sugars with the butter until fluffy. You can use melted butter, but make sure it cools alllllll the way down before adding the egg.
Add the egg and mix again.
Sprinkle in the salt, vanilla extract, and the baking soda right on top so it mixes.
Stir in flour, m&m and scoop onto a baking tray.
**If you want thin spread out cookies, put it in the oven right away. If you want it to be domey and puffy, put it into the freezer for 10 minutes.Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes until it just gets golden brown. Cooking it longer will result in a cakey thick cookie so under bake it a bit.
Enjoy!
