Botanique Maxi Sunday Dress
I've always had a thing for pretty dresses. And if it's pink, that's even better. I was immediately drawn to this floral maxi dress when it was first featured on the Anthropologie website last month. Not only is the print beautiful but the beaded detail adds an extra element of interest for me. The weather was perfect on this Easter Sunday so I carried along a denim jacket in case it got cold, and paired it with my chunky wood platform sandals. I have a feeling this dress will be in heavy rotation this Spring/Summer.

Fall Weekend Outfit
Oktoberfest in Campbell
Fall festival season is here and I took the opportunity to stroll through Campbell's Oktoberfest event with my friends this weekend. True to the German celebration people were decked out in Liederhosen, holding steins and boots of beer while dancing to the folk tunes! I didn't have any liederhosen but my overalls were a nod to the occasion. Okay, not really...but they worked.
Denim Overalls and I go way back. Since Elementary school, I remember sporting those OshKosh overalls, and then CK or Gap denim overalls in high school. At one point I think I even might have worn them for "Twins day" with those logo'ed Gap Tees. So 90's. :) So I'm happy they recently made a comeback. These overalls are unlike ones I've owned in the past because they have a flare leg opening. Two trends in one, Post!
My designer friend Charlotte (follow her instagram) and I couldn't help but fall in love with one of the stands selling animal ears and tails. I think it adds a little flair to our outfit. Get it? Flares with flair? :)
