Fish Tacos in 30 Minutes!

Fish Tacos in 30 Minutes! These fish tacos are one of mine and the kid’s favorite at home. Nate doesn’t do seafood but he liked this one, so there’s that! It’s somewhere in-between grilled and battered fried fish and totally delicious.

1 lb cod fillet

½ cup flour

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp kosher salt

Ground pepper

tortillas

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, and ground pepper. Take your fish fillet and press it into the flour.

  2. On medium high heat, add 3-4 tbsp oil enough to coat the bottom of the pan and pan fry the fish on each side for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.

  3. Char the tortillas on a cast iron pan for a few minutes until it’s nice and dark.

  4. Fill the tacos with shredded cabbage, pickled onions, tomatoes, avocado, queso fresco, and mexican crema!
