Lemon Herbed Butter Salmon

Lemon herbed butter salmon is a pretty popular dish, and I can see why! It’s fresh, light, and super delicious. This one takes less than 10 minutes to come together for a quick weeknight meal.

 Ingredients:

2 tbsps butter at room temp
Zest from lemon
Juice from half a lemon
Fresh herb mixture (parsley, basil, rosemary)
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp kosher salt

In a bowl, mix the butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, herb mixture, garlic cloves, and salt. DOn’t worry if the lemon juice doesn’t mix in - we’re going to melt everything later anyways. Set mixture aside.

To cook the salmon, on a nonstick pan, add a tiny bit of oil, and sear each side for 4-6 minutes until golden brown on the outside and then add the compound butter mixture. Let it melt and cook down for a second and it’s done. 

For this dish ,I like pairing it with some pasta and greens. The lemon butter here also doubles as your pasta sauce and is super delish. Grate some cheese on top and you have a beautiful, quick and easy meal.
